Last Lesson - 02/02/12

Last lesson we started to use a new piece of software called Wink. This is a screen capturing program which allows the user to record anything which happens on the computer screen. I will use this to show evidence of different aspects within my coursework.

Unit 1- Third Lesson (07/12/11)

Last lesson, we had an overview of instant messaging. We looked at how we use it socially and how buisnesses use it for work. We also looked at the advantages of using the method of communication and also have in-secure it can be. E.g. identity theft and difficulty to track convicts. I typed the data into a word document so that it could be used later on in the course.

Unit 1 - Second Lesson (29/11/11)

Last lesson, i wrote a step-by-step walkthrough for someone that is new to the internet to follow. This told them how to open up a browser, type in a url and send an email. I did this by using screenshots for each step followed by some text. To make sure it was clear, i sent the email to 4 different people within my class.

Unit 1 - First Lesson (24/11/11)

Last lesson I made notes on the history of the Internet using a word processor. We then discussed the pros' and cons' of the internet and then talked about the history of Email. I finished this task of for homework and did some research for it.
